He noted that the Secretary General of the NA has prepared a report on the third session of the NA based on the evaluations of NA deputies and 63 delegations of NA representatives from localities as well as relevant agencies.

Hue demanded that, based on the report, the NA Standing Committee evaluate the session's outcomes and pinpoint the sources of ongoing deficiencies in session preparation work.

Regarding the fourth session of the National Assembly, the NA Chairman emphasized that legislation will be the primary focus, necessitating tight coordination with the government to achieve the highest quality of proposed legislation.

Following the opening remarks of the NA Chairman, the committee began discussions on the change of purpose of land use for forests, forest land, and rice land with at least two crops per year.

The NA Standing Committee is also slated to discuss and vote on a draft resolution regarding the functions, responsibilities, authority, and organizational structure of the NA Committee for Deputies' Eligibility during this session. In February of this year, the draft was initially examined by the NA Standing Committee.

A report on the work of the ombudsman during the months of May and June 2022, as well as a draft resolution of the NA Standing Committee regarding the oversight of legal documents issued by NA agencies, will be presented for consideration.

The committee will also provide its perspective on a report detailing the progress of the Truong Son Dong road's construction.
