Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics expands collaboration with Singaporean partners

DNVN - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) President and Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang has proposed that Vietnam and Singapore strengthen their partnership in a number of areas, including the development of a cooperation program between the HCMA and Singaporean partners.

Thang, who is also Chairman of the Central Theory Council, made the suggestion on August 1 during a working session with Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam, CEO of Temasek Foundation Ng Boon Heong, and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Professor Vu Minh Khuong.

He stated that Vietnamese experts and academics would examine Singapore's development model in an effort to implement similar policies in Vietnam, and he urged Singapore to share its experience in corruption prevention and control.

Ambassador Jaya appreciated the HCMA's analysis of Singapore's public policy and vowed to support the implementation of the bilateral cooperation program.
