To ensure safety and security, the eTax Mobile application is a service channel of the tax industry's integrated platform that provides electronic tax services to individuals and business households.

Pham Quang Toan, director of the GDT's Information Technology Department, stated that the application provides numerous benefits to taxpayers, so the application will be expanded to include additional services, thereby creating an ecosystem of intelligent tax services.

Instead of obtaining information about tax obligations through face-to-face contacts, phone calls, emailing the tax authorities, or retrieving for public information on the GDT's website, taxpayers can now actively search for information using the eTax Mobile application on an internet-connected mobile phone or tablet.

The country's tax agency stated that the eTax Mobile application is built in a modern concept, in line with the general trend of smart mobile applications, compatible with both iOS and Android platforms, user-friendly, and meets the actual needs of taxpayers by integrating a number of utilities.

Toan shared that the GDT will continue to connect with all banks so that all individuals and taxpayers can pay taxes electronically via the eTax Mobile application in order to facilitate taxpayer participation in implementing the Government's directive on non-cash payments.

Numerous tax agencies across the nation have supported taxpayers' use of the eTax Mobile application.

According to industry insiders, electronic devices have entered the lives of most people. There are still a number of business households and non-agricultural taxpayers who are not adept at using advanced devices in the implementation of electronic tax. However, this is only a temporary obstacle that does not impact the implementation, as the tax sector continues to focus on providing information and guiding people to use applications, particularly tax payment and search utilities, enabling people to pay tax more actively and easily.
