NA Standing Committee's 13th session concludes

DNVN - The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee finished its thirteenth session on July 12 after working for one and a half days.

NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue asserted that the contents of the session were thoroughly considered and received a high level of unanimity from the full-time deputies.

During this session, the NA Standing Committee discussed and made a decision on the change of purpose of land use for forests, forest land, and rice land with at least two crops per year in order to implement the North-South expressway project between 2021 and 2025. The committee also reviewed a report on the legislature's ombudsman's work in May and June, as well as a draft resolution on the supervision of legal documents issued by NA agencies.

In addition, a draft resolution on the functions, responsibilities, authority, and organizational structure of the NA Standing Committee's Board for Deputy Affairs and a report on the construction status of the Truong Son Dong road were presented.

Earlier on the same day, under the leadership of NA Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee Tran Thanh Man, the Standing Committee evaluated the results of the 15th legislature's third session and discussed preparations for the fourth meeting.

The fourth session will run from October 20 to November 18. the During the session, seven proposed laws are anticipated to be passed, while six others will undergo the first review.
