Opening the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Than - Chairman of Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprises Association said that the celebration of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day 13/10 takes place in the context of strong changes in the country and achieved many socio-economic achievements. With the spirit of the Central Conference VIII, the first year of implementing the SME Support Law, there are many contents to support SMEs in terms of credit, production and business premises, competitiveness, technology and reforming administrative procedures that the government is trying to manage, we believe that the country's socio-economy will develop. In the past two months, in harmony with the common joy of the national business, Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises held the "Art of National Entrepreneurship - Enterprise", the eighth, in 2018, which attracted hundreds of performances in three regions: North - Central - South. In this solemn ceremony, there will be many special performances of the preliminary round.
Attending and giving a speech at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh - Politburo member - Standing Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the achievements and important contributions of VINASME in particular and the business community, entrepreneurs say they enter the country development. Standing Deputy Prime Minister believes that, with dynamic, creative, self-reliant spirit of overcoming difficulties of the officials and employees of the association, the business community and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, there will be enough bravery to gain success in the future.
"In order for businesses and entrepreneurs to grow steadily and sustainably, contributing to a strong and prosperous country in the period of new development and deepening international integration, VINASME should strive harder and continue to do well their functions and duties of a representative organization, be a bridge between businesses and state agencies, create and cultivate solidarity relationships, mutual support cooperation, continue to stimulate and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit to form and develop more and more businesses of regional and international scale; review strategy to effectively apply the achievements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution... ", stressed Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.
Also at this occasion, Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises has awarded the Certificate of Merit to the Business Association of Hoa Binh province for outstanding achievements in contributing to the development of small and medium enterprises in 2018 and Business Association of Ha Giang province for outstanding achievements in promoting the cultural and artistic movement in the community of small and medium enterprises in Vietnam 2018.
At the same time, 1 billion VND 350 million was awarded to the Vietnam Study Encouragement Association Scholarship Fund; VND 500,000,000 for Vietnam Children Support Fund. This is the amount of money contributed by the business community - expressing responsibility to the community.
