An overview of the implementation of 'three on-spot' in Da Nang industrial zones

After Vietnamese Enterprises Magazinees reported problems in the implementation of "3 on the spot" at businesses in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, Deputy head of the Da Nang People’s Committee Office Phan Van Son has issued Notice No. 460/TB-VP on the conclusion Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh on this issue.

'Three on-spot' businesses in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones

Accordingly, the Chairman of the municipal People's Committee assigned the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority to urgently preside over and coordinate with relevant authorities to evaluate the overall implementation of ‘three on-spot’ businesses. According to the evaluation, Da Nang HPIZA is to propose appropriate measures for pandemic prevention and control among businesses.

On the same day, Da Nang HPIZA said that food and essential goods have been provided to meet the needs of workers in the Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones. Accordingly, Da Nang HPIZA has issued an official guideline for ‘three on-spot’ businesses to request necessities and food. Da Nang HPIZA would then forward requests to Department of Industry and Trade for settlement.

On August 30, businesses had sent about 10 orders to the Department of Industry and Trade to request for support. However, it is difficult to organize mobile sales points inside industrial zones due to the lack of specific demand for quantity and food types. There were no businesses requests on the following day.

There are 179 businesses with 15,075 workers working on 3 sites in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and 6 industrial zones in Da Nang. In which, Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone has 72 businesses with 6,567 workers; Hoa Cam Industrial Zone has 31 businesses with 2,361 workers; Expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone has 21 businesses with 1,108 workers; Da Nang Fisheries Service Industrial Zone has 19 businesses with 1,452 workers; Lien Chieu Industrial Zone has 19 businesses with 1,323 workers; An Don Industrial Zone has 16 businesses with 1,263 workers; and Hi-Tech Park has 6 businesses with 1,001 workers.
