Các hệ thống phòng không tối tân như S-400 mà Nga triển khai ở Syria, Bắc Cực và dọc biên giới với châu Âu đang tạo nên lá chắn trên không nguy hiểm đối với sức mạnh Không quân Mỹ.

Tờ báo Vzgliad (Quan điểm) của Nga phân tích lý do tại sao các tổ hợp tên lửa mới như S-500 Prometheus, Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, 3M22 Zircon hay tên lửa đạn đạo liên lục địa (ICBM) Sarmat do nước này sản xuất lại có thể bảo đảm khả năng phòng thủ cho xứ sở Bạch dương.
Bộ Quốc phòng Nga hôm 10/1 tiết lộ với “Báo Tin tức” của nước này cho biết, hệ thống phòng không S-400 phiên bản “Địa Cực” đã hoàn thành việc nghiên cứu chế tạo, và hiện đang được tiến hành thử nghiệm thực địa.

Mỹ đã đưa ra đề nghị chính thức với Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ về hợp đồng mua hệ thống tên lửa Patriot trị giá 3,5 tỷ USD với điều kiện Ankara phải hủy thương vụ mua “rồng lửa” S-400 của Nga.
Hệ thống phòng không S-400 mà Trung Quốc nhập khẩu từ Nga đã đánh chặn thành công mục tiêu mô phỏng tên lửa đạn đạo ở cự ly 250 km trong lần bắn thử đầu tiên.
(DNVN) - Ngoại trưởng Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ Mevlut Cavusoglu cam đoan với Đại sứ Nga tại Ankara, Alexei Yerkhov, rằng Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ sẽ không cho phép Mỹ có cơ hội nghiên cứu các hệ thống tên lửa phòng không S-400.
Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ không thể từ bỏ liên minh xuyên Đại Tây Dương vì S-400, đặc biệt khi Mỹ đã đưa ra lựa chọn thay thế là Patriot.
Bloomberg vừa dẫn hai nguồn tin cho biết một thông tin gây sốc, theo đó Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ được cho là đã gợi ý các chuyên gia kỹ thuật của Mỹ nghiên cứu hệ thống phòng thủ tên lửa S-400 mà Ankara mua của Nga để “hạn chế tổn thất” trong mối quan hệ giữa Mỹ và Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ gây ra.
Sau nhiều lần khước từ yêu cầu mua hệ thống phòng thủ Patriot của Ankara với nhiều lý do, Washington bất ngờ đồng ý bán tổ hợp này. Giới quan sát và các chính trị gia Nga đã phân tích về nguyên nhân dẫn tới quyết định này của Mỹ.
Ngay sau khi hoàn tất việc bổ sung các hệ thống phòng thủ tên lửa Triumf S-400 ở Crimea, quân đội Nga đã tiến hành cuộc tập trận bắn đạn thật với các hệ thống này.
Bộ Ngoại giao Mỹ đã thông báo cho Quốc hội nước này về việc nhất trí bán hệ thống tên lửa phòng thủ Patriot cho Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ với giá 3,5 tỷ USD, trong bối cảnh Washington quan ngại Ankara đang xích lại gần Nga sau thương vụ mua “rồng lửa” S-400 của Moscow.
